Who is responsible

Grand Job Games (David Donnellan) is the data controller for this website and for the games published under the Grand Job Games name. Contact:hello@grandjobgames.com.

The short version

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It sets no cookies at all. There is no account system, no contact form and no newsletter. The only personal data processed is what any web server necessarily receives in order to send you a page.

What this website collects

The site is a set of static files served through Cloudflare. When you request a page, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data on our behalf:

This data is used only to deliver the site, keep it available, and protect it from abuse such as denial-of-service attacks. It is not used to build a profile of you, it is not combined with any other data set, and it is not sold or shared for marketing.

Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the website.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. Because there are no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner.

Individual games may store a small amount of data in your own browser, for example a high score or the last level reached. Where they do, it stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser. Where a game does anything more than that, it is stated on that game's page.

Third parties

ProviderPurposeData involved
Cloudflare, Inc.Hosting, CDN and security for this websiteTechnical request data as described above

Cloudflare acts as a processor on our behalf and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

No advertising networks, social media pixels or analytics products are used on this website.

Games published as apps

No games are currently published as standalone apps. When one is, its own privacy policy will be linked here.

How long data is kept

Server and security logs held by our hosting provider are retained for a short period, typically no more than 30 days, and are then deleted or aggregated into anonymous statistics that cannot be linked back to you. We do not keep our own copy of these logs.

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with what you wrote about, and are deleted after that.

Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email hello@grandjobgames.com. We will respond within one month. Note that because this site holds no account or contact records, we usually hold nothing that identifies you, and there may be nothing to give you.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Children

The games are suitable for a general audience, but this website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. If you believe a child's personal data has reached us in some way, email us and it will be deleted.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, such as app stores or game listing sites. Once you follow one of those links, this policy no longer applies, and the site you land on will have its own.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page.
